East Bladen Girls Soccer Only Team In NC to Earn Prestigious 2024-2025 Team Pinnacle Award

ELIZABETHTOWN, NC — The East Bladen Lady Eagles completed an outstanding season with a 16-2-2 record and earned recognition as one of the nation’s top high school soccer programs.
Only North Carolina High School to Receive National Honor
United Soccer Coaches announced East Bladen High School as a recipient of the 2024-25 Team Pinnacle Award, the organization’s highest honor for high school programs.
The Lady Eagles were the only North Carolina high school team selected among 63 high school programs and 14 college programs nationwide. The award recognizes excellence in both athletic performance and academic achievement.
Senior Class Leaves Lasting Legacy
Eight seniors concluded their high school careers with this historic season. Lynn Escobar Perez, Iveonna “NeNe” Ward, Jackie Medina-Leal, Katie Baza, Leah McGill, Mary Frances Sutton, Anna Miranda, and Jaziyah Daniels provided leadership and experience that helped guide the program to new heights.
The Lady Eagles’ success also came from contributions across the entire roster, even freshman who heavily contributed. Michelle Quezada, Nevaeh Brown, Sana’a Singletary, Julia Flowers, Kayelynn Chambers, Abigail Miranda-Ventura, Isabella Beard, Aubri Nixon, Kenley Parks, Gabriela Rebollar, Kaelyn Eason, Marlee Potter, Lexi Ventura, Macey Potter, and Annika Bass each played important roles throughout the season.
Setting the Standard
The 16-2-2 record and Team Pinnacle Award represent the highest achievement in East Bladen girls soccer history. The Lady Eagles earned their place among the nation’s best programs through consistent performance on the field and commitment to excellence in the classroom.
As the program moves forward, this season establishes a benchmark for future Lady Eagles teams to pursue.
