The West Bladen Knights capped off a successful golf season on Tuesday, May 6th, by competing in the 2A Mid-East Regional Championship held at The Preserve at Jordan Lake Golf Club. East Bladen’s golf team clinched the 1A classification title in the Waccamaw Conference on Monday, earning a trip to the 1A East Regional Tournament set for May 5th at Lane Tree Golf Course in Goldsboro. In a field that included both 1A and 2A schools, East Bladen finished second overall behind South Columbus, who took the 2A title.

The West Bladen golf team turned in a solid effort this week at the Southeastern Athletic Conference match, finishing fourth out of five competing teams with a combined score of 361. Midway led the day with a strong 309 finish, followed by Fairmont (347), Clinton (357), and Saint Pauls (475).
