West Bladen Finishes Third in Southeastern Athletic Conference Golf Match

Fairmont, NC – West Bladen’s golf team earned a third-place finish in Monday’s Southeastern Athletic Conference match.

The Knights posted a team score of 367, placing behind Midway (327) and Clinton (336) but ahead of Fairmont (396), Red Springs (413), and Saint Pauls (478).

Sophomore Seth Faircloth led the Knights with an impressive round of 81, followed by fellow sophomore Evan Melvin, who shot an 87.

Junior Gavin Smith carded a 99, while senior Nolan Sessoms finished with a 100. Freshman Jonathan Gooden rounded out the scoring with a 102.

West Bladen will aim to build on this performance as they continue Southeastern Athletic Conference play in their upcoming matches.
