TAR HEEL, NC — Tar Heel’s boys soccer team put together a statement performance Tuesday evening, shutting out Elizabethtown 5-0.


From the opening whistle, Tar Heel controlled the pace, applying steady pressure and finishing chances with confidence.


Edin Hernandez sparked the attack with two goals, setting the tone early.


Joshua Martinez matched him with two goals of his own, while Josue Salazar capped off the scoring with a strong finish.
