Elizabethtown Middle Outlasts Tar Heel in High-Scoring Showdown, 24-14

Bladenboro, NC - In a game full of offense and energy, Elizabethtown Middle School powered past Tar Heel Middle on Monday with a 24-14 victory.
Head Coach Colbie Grimes and assistant coaches Susan Brisson and Brittany Tatum saw their team rise to the occasion with a complete team effort and big bats across the lineup.
Elizabethtown came out swinging early, scoring multiple runs in the first two innings and never letting up.
While Tar Heel Middle battled back with rallies of their own, Elizabethtown’s offensive firepower was too much to overcome.

Though Tar Heel came up short, the team showed heart and hustle throughout the game, keeping the score competitive and making several defensive plays to stop Elizabethtown rallies.
