JV Boys Basketball: Clinton 27, West Bladen 19.

BLADENBORO, NC – Elijah Bryant scored all 6 of his points in the final period to secure a 27-19 victory for Clinton over West Bladen Tuesday in jayvee boys basketball action.

Sayvion Covington tossed in 2 baskets for West in the 1st half, and Blake Britt and Sincere McKinley drained 3-point shots. Center Demarious Guions powered in a basket and a free throw to keep the Knights within 15-13.

Covington drilled in a 3-point shot and another basket in the 3rd quarter, and Guions sank a free throw, but Clinton was still up 21-19. The Knights failed to score in the final period as the Dark Horses lengthened their lead.

Covington topped the West scoring with 9 points, and Guions totaled 4 points. Bryant’s 6 points led Clinton.

The Knights are now 3-3 in SAC play and 6-6 overall.
