Wilmington, NC - The Emereau Aviators girls’ soccer team put on a dominant performance Monday afternoon in Wilmington, securing a 7-1 win over the Cape Fear Academy “B” team.
From the opening whistle, the Aviators came out with energy and control. It didn’t take long for Rylie Dowless to set the tone, finding the back of the net early to give Emereau a 1-0 lead.
The momentum continued when Jamison Raynor delivered a perfectly placed corner kick that curved its way into the goal, doubling the advantage to 2-0.
Zoe Hall then took charge offensively, showing her scoring touch with a goal to make it 3-0.
Maylin McMichael followed with a smooth finish of her own, extending the lead to 4-0.
Allison Morales Baza joined the scoring column with a strong strike that pushed the margin to 5-0.
